How Brian Miller Just Earned Industry Award Recognition as a Keynote Speaker
Today, we want to talk about one of our keynote speakers who has been recognized for awards and the great work he has done. Brian Miller, who is one of our primary keynote speakers, gets to share this experience with you all. For someone like Brian as a speaker, recognition often follows results. For him, that recognition tells a deeper story, and it’s one about connection and effective communication that actually moves people to act when he comes out to events to speak to them.
Over the years, Brian has become a highly sought-after keynote speaker and one of the most awarded speechwriters and communication strategists in the industry. Lately, he's shown off a handful of standout performances we want to spend some time discussing. In this blog, we will take a look at how Brian Miller just earned industry award recognition as a human connection keynote speaker.
Taking a Look at the Awards He Was Recognized For
One of the big ones that Brian was recognized for recently was at the prestigious Cicero Speechwriting Awards. It’s an awards organization described as the “Emmys of speechwriting.” Brian has emerged as a highly sought-after human connection keynote speaker and one of the most awarded speechwriters and communication strategists in the industry. People flock out to see his work and listen to him speak at events that we have helped to put on.
This year, Brian and his team at Clarity Up Consulting earned five honors across four categories, more than any other individual or firm that year. Most importantly, Brian Miller and Lead Consultant Francisco Mahfuz earned three Category Awards and two Honorable Mentions for speeches spanning healthcare, social justice, leadership, and communication. Underscoring both the volume and quality of their work doesn’t come close to describing how proud we are of them. They represent a great level of work that can inspire anyone, and that’s always our goal in mind with Human Connection Speakers.
What the Award-Winning Work Actually Means
For two years in a row, Brian and his team have been recognized for their work, and overall, what the awards and nominations bring is so much more than their work. We want to talk about what that means. What sets Brian apart from most professional speakers isn’t just his ability to deliver a compelling speech that gives you the information you want to hear. It’s also his ability to make that informationfeel like it MATTERS! His goal is to always help people connect in a way that drives real change. We aren’t called Human Connection Speakers for nothing.
To be awarded five honors for topics that affect people in positive ways goes a long way. “How to Be an Activist Who Creates Real Change” has a major focus on the message of clarity and human connection through healthcare, social justice, leadership, and communication, even if the recognized speeches from Brian and his team represent five entirely different industries and audiences. The message and goals are still always the same!
"The Simple Way AI Can Make You Healthier" was the healthcare topic speech that was done for TEDx Talks, written by Francisco Mahfuz and Brian Miller, with the speech being given by Elena Ikonomovska. It was written for her to share a personal story that made her reimagine what the future of medicine looks like. This talk is a powerful call to action: to become informed, take ownership of our health, and embrace the future of patient-empowered precision medicine.
"How to Keep Our Kids Safe From Hidden Dangers" is a social justice speech that was written by Francisco and Brian, and the TEDx Talk speech was given by Ashley Hill. It tackles the topic of safety for children from the angle of someone like Ashley, who is a licensed marriage and family therapist who helps provide safe homes for foster kids who are at risk or are victims of sex trafficking. The speech gives an in-depth look at how, if parents understand what trafficking actually is, they can protect their kids better and have stronger relationships with them.
Brian also received a Category Award in Rhetoric and Communication for a speech he wrote and delivered, a talk about the very craft of clear, compelling communication. It is perhaps the most on-brand honor in the organization's history. As you can see, with a growing list of awards that recognize his work, the goals and outreach of Brian's work as a writer and keynote speaker are resonating.
We can’t recommend enough that you read more about Brian on our website and consider him for a speaking event if you need one. Give us a call if you have any questions, and we will get back to you as soon as possible!
