Wellness Event Speakers to Create New Pathways to Success
Our keynote speakers are all incredible at what they do. That’s why they’ve been handpicked by our leadership to be the 8 original members of the Human Connection Speakers Bureau. We started this organization because we love helping others, and we love helping to shed light on the incredible power of human connection.
Each of our interesting speakers provides a different flavor of how human connection can change lives, but we want to use this blog page to help paint a picture of how their specialties can help specific types of events and conferences for which you may be looking for a keynote speaker! Today on the blog, we want to highly 4 speakers who could certainly fulfill a need for a speaker for a wellness retreat, or a wellness conference. We will also go over a few reasons why we feel they would make a great fit for a wellness event.
For a Brighter Perspective
Karen Faith is an ethnographer. If you’re unaware of what that is, an ethnographer is someone who studies human cultures by immersing themselves in participant observation, interviews, and detailed note-taking to understand people’s daily lives, behaviors, and beliefs from their perspective.
This means Karen Faith legitimately dedicates her life to understanding others. This is why she also gets paid to speak all over the country to help professionals to learn to be more empathetic to others. Through Karen’s approach, attendees of your wellness event can expect to walk away with a stronger ability to build deep connections, navigate difficult conversations, and be better collaborators.
Her warmth and humor can blend well with both complex topics and fit into broader wellness topics. She can shift the mind of the individual and build better team dynamics.
For a Happier Workforce & Outlook
Wellness is often associated with physical health and activity, but so much of our physical health can be attributed to our mental health. If you’re looking to incorporate mental wellness into your event, retreat, or conference, well, Brooklyn Dicent can be a true firework for your audience. Her innate ability to create a feeling of acceptance and a desire to take a positive next step is palpable. No matter what industry you come from, Brooklyn can shift your perspective on being happy and how to do so.
Learning about new ways to find and build joy and happiness can be perfect for event holders who are aiming to improve mental health, combat burnout or stress, or boost team cohesion. If you are looking for an injection of life, laughs, and a fun-centered approach to mental wellness, then Brooklyn could be your answer!
For Finding the Highest Self
If you’re looking for someone who wrote the (a) book on Self Care, then Darryll Stinson is here to help. Darryl is a speaker, but he’s also an author. He’s also a survivor. Not everyone who attempts suicide is here to tell their story, let alone tell their story in the way that Darryll can. He has overcome the battle within, found his “highest self,” and has countless tips, tricks, and tactics to help others do the same. He has taken his few moments of darkness and created a pathway that guides others in ways to help them succeed and stay succeeding, in the face of mental health challenges.
His book, The System of Self C.A.R.E., is all about how traditional mental health advice is more geared toward going from crisis to calm, but Darryll’s approach aims a bit higher. He seeks to help people get better and achieve greater levels of contribution, productivity, and performance. His speaking programs aim to do the same. If you need someone who can bring real-world athletic experience mixed with real-world mental health skill-building, Darryl’s your guy!
For Building a New Version of Self
A wellness event is a great time and place to help eventgoers to reflect and find new perspectives. Not everyone is given that choice! Mike Shoreman was forced to find a new version of himself when he was faced with a disease and disability that instantaneously changed his life. It could have been a change for the worse, but Mike shifted the challenge into an ability to inspire others.
Having authored two best-selling books and shared his story on numerous live stages and television programs, Mike is a mental health and connection expert. He was once a passionate paddleboarder before his diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which significantly affected his neurological system. Despite doctors' expectations, he never quit; he kept paddleboarding and became an inspiration for others.
He has an incredible ability to shift perspectives on adversity, unlock internal mental potential, and generate the ability to make a lasting impact. He can certainly help if you’re looking to create change in your wellness event.
These are some of our speakers who can help you with your wellness event, but we certainly wouldn’t rule out any of our first 8 speakers. Each one of our human connection speakers can bring something different to your health and wellness event, and we recommend you reach out so we can go over your needs and budget to best serve you. Our team will listen to your event and personal needs, and we will discuss where we feel our speakers could fit into your needs. Just fill out our contact form or email scott@neon-entertainment.com, and we will be in touch ASAP! We look forward to working together!
